Rating system for schools in the VisaRus directory  12th Feb '06 1:03 PM

I'd be interested in anyone's thoughts on this. I'm starting to plan a system for applying ratings to schools in the directory.

I'd be interested in what criteria you think schools should be rated on. It needs to be narrowed down to just the most important so that users can easily compare schools at a glance.

A 'league table' of the best-rated schools will also be part of the system.

You may also want to consider rating teachers. While this will be more informative, I am guessing it would be much more difficult to convince teachers to go along with it.

In terms of rating schools you can either do it from the standpoint of a prospective teacher and/or a prospective student. Each of course would contain different criteria.

We could meet to hash it out.

"No dictator, no invader, can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against that power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free."
