New Jobs site 11th Dec '07 2:30 PM
I've been promising to bring the job ads on the site up to standard for... oh, about two years or more, mainly because the existing system on VisaRus is a tad clumsy and awkward to use.
Instead of remaking the VisaRus job ads system, I've decided it would be best put to rest for now I've made a separate site on Interlingua (see [vr]http://esl.interlingua.co.uk[/vrl]) with a system that's much simpler for both schools and teachers to use.
Before you get upset about yet another new site - don't worry. When you log in, you'll see a button marked "Click here to register on Interlingua.co.uk".
That will take you to the registration form on Interlingua and fill out quite a bit of your personal information for you.
What fun stuff does the site do?
Well, for a start you can apply to jobs just by clicking one button (I'd been promising that for years on VisaRus but it was just a tad too cumbersome to implement). You can create a CV online (and save it as .rtf, which opens in most word processors). You can upload a bigger photo to go with your CV. And it's not cluttered with distracing things like forums, chat, blah blah blah. Just jobs and nothing else.
There might not always be jobs there as it's pretty much just a replacement for the current VisaRus system. Don't worry. All the jobs are displayed in the ticker box at the top of every page on VisaRus and some other sites, so you won't miss out on anything. You can also create your own RSS feed if you have your own site or you use a feed-reader programme.
Does it replace VisaRus?
No! It's not a community site. There's nothing to do there except apply for jobs. It's only there to provide job adverts to VisaRus and some other sites. Don't worry - everything is under control!

Feel free to apply to 'Albin berta' folks - on the site, his job title is 'Need a teacher'.
The IP address (196.220.6.150) even came out as California, USA. I think I'll apply and start another Tatyana-esque thread
