Greetings all.

A recent school review has finally pushed me to try something I've had in mind for over a year now.

I've been giving out information about average wages based on what I know of acquaintances' and contacts' earnings.

I'd like to get a slightly more accurate picture of the current situation by using a slightly more 'scientific approach'. That is, I'd like to find out who's earning what, and from where, be it through freelancing, contract teaching or private arrangements with students.

All responses will, of course, be treated in the strictest confidence. Results will be made available in the form of statistics with no reference to names of respondents. Schools may be named.

Most likely the results will be shared freely with respondents and thereafter appended to the TEFL Guide to Russia (anyone who already bought the book and asked to be kept updated will naturally receive the results by email) and/or offered as a separate download for a small fee to discourage schools from getting too nosey.
