Summer camps and beyond  21st Jan '07 7:13 PM

Hi all,

My friend and I are currently engaged in an overland journey through the middle east and central asia, with the russian east being our ultimate goal. We will arrive there late spring, and are attempting to find work in a summer camp (we are both university graduates, native Enlish speakers and hold TESOL diplomas). We also intend to remain in eastern Russia for at least 12 months following this and would like to find work for this period. Our research has indicated that it is probably easier to find permanent work when actually in the country - we have vast quantities of unanswered emails or replies that fizzled into nothing from several schools in the region. However, we think it would be best to organise summer camp work prior to our arrival, as we will not have much time up our sleeves. Can anyone offer some advice as to where to look for summer camp teaching opportunities, contacts and the like?

Thanks
Kris
