Viewing topic: any info?

Has anyone worked for "Lingua Consult/ Liden & Denz" recently? Can you relate any experiences - good/bad?
Their pay scale isn't too impressive from where I'm standing...250-320/aca hr...I make 700 roubles min from free-lance classes (1.5 hrs). But, they may be prepared to offer me a higher post...head of studies or something.
What do you reckon - worth a butchers?

I think they're teaching at one of the companies where I also give some lessons. Those are not great wages, especially for business classes. Try ALM or Language Studio instead.

Out of interest what's the minimum you'd work for in Spb (private class/business class)??? What's "acceptable"? Something like $12.5 (700 ryb)/1.5 hrs is pretty standard for me. Most lang schools i've spoken to are offering about 600 ryb/1.5 hrs...maybe a bit more.

There's a thread on wages in the SPb schools & work forum. ALM pays better, LS pays better, Educacentre pays (I think) min 330 rub/hour. That's okay for general English.

Anything advertised as business English, I'd take no less than $15/hour, especially if travel's involved.

Wages in this place seem to have been stuck for ages, or are even going down thanks to the dollar fiasco.

I think we need a real team effort to work out what all the schools are paying and get a comparison.
