We are now accepting advertisements from a wide range of sources; from schools and training institutes to recruiters and travel companies. All we ask is that you should offer something of value to our visitors. Adverts will start going online from Jan 1st 2008.
Our flexible pricing makes it easy for you to choose a format that's right for your business. We don't charge for impressions or click-throughs. All adverts create a direct link to your website, thus not only do they bring you human traffic, they also help improve your search engine ranking.

1.150 x 60 pixel mini-banner adverts
Get your banner advert in the right-hand column of every page of the VisaRus site for as little as €1 per day:
- €5 per day, minimum 7 days
- €50 per month, minimum 3 months
- €365 per year, minimum 1 year
Maximum 10 mini-banners on the site at any time.
Supported formats: JPEG, GIF, Flash.
Banners should be no more than 15Kb in size.
2.Banner adverts
Your 470 x 50 pixel banner can replace the Google Ads banner at the top of the page content on every single page for as little as €15 per day:
- €25 per day, minimum 7 days
- €350 per month, minimum 3 months
- €5475 per year, minimum 1 year
Your banner advert may contain text as well as images, provided everything fits into a maximum 470 x 50 pixel space.
Please not that only one banner advert can be placed under this scheme at any one time. Adopting this scheme for one year effectively makes your company the official VisaRus sponsor and entitles you to one free sponsored article per month and 5 free keyword links.
Supported formats: Text, JPEG, GIF, Flash.
Banners should be no more than 25Kb in size.
3.Sponsored articles

4.Text link adverts
Get your text link in the right-hand column of every page of the VisaRus site for just €0.27 per day:
- €15 per month, minimum 3 months
- €100 per year, minimum 1 year
5.Keyword linking
Keyword linking is mainly aimed at improving your site's search engine rankings, and also brings human traffic.
Keyword linking automatically turns the first instance of your chosen words or phrases on every page of VisaRus into links to your site. You can choose from a simple direct link or a link with an informative mouseover box. (See the site for examples).
Prices vary depending on how specific your keywords are - single words are the most expensive, phrases are the cheapest.
As a guide, prices vary from €5 to €25 per month with discounts for long-term advertisers. Contact us with details of the keywords/phrases you'd like to have linked.
6.We are always open to your ideas and requests. If you'd like to advertise in a way not listed on this page, feel free to contact us with your suggestion.
Advertising terms and conditions:
1.VisaRus will not publish advertisements that contain or link to obscene, offensive, racist or adult material.
2.The decision to publish an advert is made at the sole discretion of the administrators of the VisaRus Website.
3.The content of adverts published for less than one year cannot be altered after publication.
4.The content of adverts published for one year may be changed once per three months.
5.The fees for advertising are correct at the date this document was created. We will quote an exact fee when you are ready to advertise.
6.VisaRus does not guarantee any minimum traffic.
7.VisaRus guarantees at least 90% website uptime, and that the site will remain live until the end of your advertising period. If for any reason your adverts are removed before their expiry date, or the site is taken offline before your adverts expire, you will be refunded for the remaining portion of your advertising time.
8.Advertisers will provide images in the required format for publishing. Images (banners) will be hosted on the same server as VisaRus.
9.Advertising on VisaRus does not grant the privilege to control site content. The majority of content on VisaRus is user-contributed.
10.The owners of the VisaRus domain do not personally recommend or endorse advertisers' products or services.
11.These terms and conditions may be changed at any time.
